Prevalence and Experience of Sexual Harassment at Workplaces

This survey is curated and hosted by POSHequili. POSHequili is a boutique firm assisting organizations and institutions across India in complying with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act & Rules, 2013 (Law). You must be 18 or older to participate in this study.

Aim of the Survey

  1. Awareness about the law against sexual harassment at workplace
  2. Prevalence of sexual harassment at workplace
  3. The various ways boundaries have been crossed with regard to sexual harassment at workplace
  4. Identify vulnerable spaces, relationships and other factors that contribute towards this issue
  5. Experiences of reporting sexual harassment at the workplace
    • For people who experienced sexual harassment at workplace
    • For people who were accused of sexual harassment at workplace

Confidentiality

All information collected in this survey will be treated confidentially and used only for the purposes of research. Identifying information about the participants will not be made public, or in any way link back specifically to any individual’s participation in the survey.

Voluntary Participation

This survey should take most participants anywhere between 5-20 minutes to complete, depending on individual experiences. Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and you may choose to exit the survey at any time. We do, however urge you to consider completing the survey, as each of your responses will help us achieve our larger goals, listed below.

A non-profit organisation located in Bangalore, it caters to resolve personal and psychological concerns of individuals. Their team consists of trained counselors and volunteers who are also certified gate keepers in suicide prevention. It is associated with the Live Love Laugh Foundation, Vandrevala foundation, and the Psychiatry Department of M.S. Ramaiah Hospital.

iCALL helpline

Run by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, it is a telephone and e-mail based counseling service that caters to individuals in emotional and psychological distress.

At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you would be comfortable to connect with us for an interview for further research.
