This Workshop covered understanding of various concepts and provisions of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 and dealt with developing skills for effectively handling complaints & carrying out responsibilities laid down under Law – from legal, psychological as well as a practical lens. It was designed based on experiences of our core team members (Lawyers & Psychologist) who act as external member of IC of various organizations and learnings from reported instances & case laws of various Courts of India. There were activities, mock inquiries and drafting of inquiry report planned for participants to get a hands on learning experience.
Especially beneficial to those employees (in the role of HR, legal, ethics & compliance or any other) who are/may be acting as IC members, are new inductees in IC or are independent professionals working in this area. Also helpful for managers wanting to understand compliance requirements under law and how complaints get handled and for those who assist IC members in successfully fulfilling their role.
